Fabulous Jakobsplan ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt, welches sich der Produktion künstlerischer Interventionen im Jakobsplan Plattenbau in Weimar widmet. Die Initiative beschäftigt sich mit Nachwende-Architektur, der Bedeutung des Scheiterns im Städtebau und die Entwicklung des Images dieses bestimmten Ortes im öffentlichen Bewusstsein neu vorstellen.

Das Projekt umfasst eine Künstlerresidenz, eine Ausstellung, ein Archiv, Live-Konzerte, Führungen durch das Gebäude sowie Arbeiten von über 20 internationalen Künstler*innen.

Fabulous Jakobsplan is a collaborative project dedicated to producing artistic interventions in the Jakobsplan Plattenbau in Weimar, Germany. The initiative was designed to re-imagine post-wall social architecture, the meaning of failure in urban design, and how the image of this particular site has developed in the public consciousness.

The project includes an artist residency, an exhibition, an archive, live concerts, tours of the building and works by more than 20 international artists.
