Lecture and workshop series and exhibition
erase Love versammelt Dokumente, Prozesse und Projektionen aus dem transkulturellen Austausch mit internationalen Künstler*innen, Architekt*innen, Urbanist*innen und Kulturschaffenden, die uns im Laufe des Semesters für Workshops und Vorträge besuchten. Mit ihnen haben wir durch dezentrierte und dekoloniale Perspektiven Wissen über globale Modernen in Kunst und Architektur geteilt. Liebe betrachten wir dabei als relationale Praxis und als Technologie der Transformation, die sich gegen Auslöschung richtet. Um die Grenzen des akademischen Raums zu erweitern, haben wir den erase Shop, einen ehemaligen Fahrradladen in der Stadt, als Ort der Begegnung, Diskussion und Zusammenarbeit eingerichtet.

erase Love gathers documents, processes, and projections from the transcultural exchange with international artists, architects, urbanists, and cultural practitioners who joined us for workshops and lectures over the course of the semester. We have shared multi-perspective knowledge of global modernisms in art and architecture through a decentered and decolonial lens. Love is thereby understood as a relational practice and a technology of transformation that opposes erasure.
To expand the boundaries of the academic space, eraseLove established erase Shop, a former bicycle shop in the city, as a space for gathering, discussion, and collaboration.

Prof. Ina Weise, Arijit Bhattacharyya, Lea Maria Wittich, Jirka Reichmann/Koordination) and the Professorship “Arts and Research” (Jun.- Prof. Dr. Alexandra Toland) on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus exhibition in 1923.
